Digital Technologies @ Springfield
Digital systems are everywhere, we are surrounded! Mobile and desktop devices and networks are transforming learning, recreational activities, home life and work.
Digital systems support new ways of collaborating and communicating and require new skills such as computational and system thinking. Technologies are an essential problem-solving tool in our knowledge-based society.
At Springfield Primary, we want to be able to enhance students’ ability and opportunity to interact with digital technologies to diversify their learning experiences. A strong commitment to using Technology as a learning and engagement tool is clearly evident through our improvements to our classroom infrastructure and the purchase of new equipment.
Our students from Kindy to Yr 6 have access to computers, iPads, interactive panels in each room, robotics tools and video cameras for class work and movie making projects.
