History

Established in 1972 Springfield Primary School opened with 179 students accommodated in four temporary buildings. New permanent buildings were available the following year but the temporary buildings were retained to successfully house Padbury, Hillarys (formally Lymburner PS) and Mullaloo Heights students while their schools were under construction.

The school’s 40th anniversary was celebrated in 2012 with lots of community, school and student based activities.

In 2010 the school added a new building, our Early Childhood Centre, housing two Pre-primary classes and a Kindergarten class. This state of the art facility was funded by the Federal Government’s, Building the Education Revolution program.

In 2022 we celebrated 50 years of educating the children of Kallaroo with a wonderful Community event and we are looking forward to continuing to offer quality education for many years to come.
